ソフォス株式会社は10月20日、統合セキュリティ対策ソリューションとして、エンドポイント対策製品「Sophos Endpoint Security and Control 9」およびメールセキュリティ対策製品「Sophos Email Security and Data Protection」の2製品を同日より発売したと発表した。「Sophos Endpoint Security and Control 9」は、情報流出防止（DLP）機能が追加された他、Windows 7やMac OS X 10.6といった最新OSやLinux、UNIXサポートし、複数のOSが混在する環境でも一括で管理することが可能だ。
また「Sophos Email Security and Data Protection」は、従来のメールセキュリティ製品「Sophos Email Security and Control」に、メールおよび添付ファイルをPDFに変換して暗号化する機能「Sophos SPX（Secured PDF eXchange）Encryption」を追加した新統合メールセキュリティ製品。この「Sophos SPX Encryption」機能は、「Sophos Email Security and Control」として提供しているアプライアンス製品「Sophos Email Appliance」の拡張機能として提供される。
